Admission Rules at ‘Tuition Hub’

‘Tuition Hub’ is for those students who wish to be here. The student must show that they are committed to their studies. If we feel that the grind sessions are not suited to a student due to concentration or distraction levels, students will be removed from the sessions if they reach step 3 of warnings explained below.

All students must abide by the following rules:

• Students must follow all social distancing guidelines and signs that are in place

• Mobile phone usage is not allowed during classes.

• Students MUST NOT disturb others

• Students must arrive on time.

• Students must be organised and are not allowed to move around during sessions (unless they are using the toilet facilities)

• Students must always follow instructions given.

• Students are responsible for all of their own belongings including their mobile phones.

• Students must not eat at their study desks (including chewing gum)

• ‘Tuition Hub’ is not responsible for any students who leave the premises early.

• Students may use an I-pad or a laptop during sessions once they are used solely for study and educational purposes.

• Students are not permitted to smoke or have/take drugs on the premises.

• Students are expected to have due regard for the residents of surrounding properties and should not engage in, initiate or support loud or aggressive behavior of any description that could be construed as disruptive or destructive.

3 STEP WARNING PROCEDURE

If there are any problems with a student the following steps will be taken and will be documented throughout each step:

Step 1) He / She will be given one verbal warning.

Step 2) The student’s parent will be contacted and notified of steps 1 & 2 issues.

Step 3) If the problem persists the student will be asked to leave 'Tuition Hub’. Any student who is asked to leave will not be permitted to return. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) will be informed and no refunds will be made in respect of this final decision.

‘Tuition Hub’ Payment Terms and Conditions

Grinds Payment Policy: All fees for grinds classes must be paid by the term:

1. Either full payment on first class of the term

Or

2. €100 on first night and the remaining balance on week 5 ( example Term 1 is 7 weeks, €100 week 1 and €75 week 5)

Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. We do not allow for absenteeism.

Deposits: Deposits are non- refundable and non-transferable.

Courses, Workshops & Holiday Study: Payment for courses, workshops is non-refundable and non-transferable. There is no allowance for absenteeism. Payment may be transferable to other services if we are notified of the cancellation 14 days prior to the event.

Absenteeism: We do not allow for absenteeism in grinds or courses packages. If a student is unable to make a grind, the tutor will keep a copy of the notes and exam questions for students.
